If you have arrived from my friend Andrea Sherman’s blog you are right on track.

Today, I created cards using CTMH’s My Crush Assortment!!

If you missed my 1st post of the three card designs– CLICK HERE….today we are taking a closer look at the first card, and how it was created.

Here is my  butterfly card…

This month – CTMH has a FABULOUS special that includes the My Crush product line!!J

I wanted to use our My Crush Assortment pack in a different way, so this is what I came up with.

In this card, I used pieces from the My Crush MEMORIES assortment….take a look.

I used 2 pieces from the assortment pack, an arrow (from the sticker sheet) and the “Love This” stamp set (that you can get FREE this month!)

Can you see how I cut apart (yes I cut it apart...ahh! LOL!J) the 2 cards from the assortment pack?

The tag was cut out…and then I used the blue & purple chevron strips as accents.  I cut off the word “currently” on the next assortment card & layered that under the green tag.

I took the “arrow” sticker – and cut it into 3 pieces….giving it a bit more dimension.

Then I added some embellishments – thistle extra thick twine, white shimmer trim & some clear sparkles.  J

Come back in the next few days to learn details on the other TWO cards I created using the My Crush Assortment pieces.

I hope you enjoyed this peek at some products that are ONLY available at Close To My Heart.J

I ADORE the traditional way of creating with our My Crush collection, but I wanted to try and step "outside of the box" and use those FABULOUS My Crush Assortment cards for something a bit different.

So off to my brainstorming mode I went.....and you can see what cards I created using the My Crush Memories Assortment!!J

I had so much FUN creating these cards!!! I was a bit scared to cut apart the adorable Assortment cards - but it was WELL WORTH the effort in the end!! LOL!!! J

Here is a picture of the entire Memories assortment pack.

Assortment pack INCLUDES:

16 – Journal Spots
4 – 4" × 4" My Stickease™ Sheets
