Here is this month's EXCLUSIVE stamp set, that you can get for ONLY $5 with EVERY $50 CTMH purchase in April 2020.
April's Stamp set is an ADORABLE one for sure!! There were so many GREAT ideas out there...and I'm sure you've seen some FABULOUS creations on this hop!
Here is the card I created today....
Here is the card I created today....
Let's check out the DETAILS of this card. :)
When I first saw this stamp set...my mind thought "background stamping" and "wouldn't this look neat with an emboss resist technique" that's exactly what I did!
I took a sheet of our White Daisy Cardstock & used my VersaMark ink pad to stamp a LOT of fish all over the paper.
Next, I took my WHITE embossing powder & sprinkled that all over the fish, shook off the excess...and then used my Heat Tool to set the embossing powder.
Then...the FUN part!! :) I used these 3 ink colors below & used a different sponge in each ink pad and started coloring! By going in a circular motion, it was easy to blend all of the colors together. Those white embossed fishes just POPPED when colored with those dark colors!!
Next, I wanted to add "bubbles" to my fish, as this was another stamp image in this FABULOUS Stamp of the Month collection!
I pulled out my Liquid Glass, and that was the PERFECT touch to create those see through bubbles!
If you look closely at this larger fish above -- you'll notice he's a bit "shiny" ;) . After I was finished sponging him with ink...I colored him in with our CLEAR Shimmer brush....so sparkly!
The white glitter -- is our GORGEOUS White Glitter paper. It comes in a set of 3- 12x12 sheets! Love this product!
To finish up the card I created the center focal point.
I stamped the fish in Bluebird Ink onto some "extra" paper that I had "Practice sponged" the inks on...then I used our micro-tip scissors to fussy cut out the fish. He needed some sparkle too ---so out came the Clear shimmer brush, and that gave him the finishing touch. :)
By using Green Apple & Almond ink, I was able to create a small circle of sea life on the stitched White Daisy circle.

I also always try and use as MANY stamps from this stamp set as I could! :)
So....take a look at the "scallop" border ;) ....it is actually the WAVE stamp from this set! Yay!!
