I adore the products that are in the Seasonal Expression 1 (SE1) mini book from Close To My Heart….and while I’ll miss these products – I won’t stay sad for long BECAUSE the NEW SE2 mini-book is coming our way May 1st!!! Wahoo!!!

For instance, the Woodland Romance stamp set….eekkk!!  I just ADORE this stamp, it’s Cricut compatible & it’s retiring in just 3 days!!

We created this layout at my retreat last month.  It was fun to do some heat embossing again, and share this technique with a few ladies that had never done it before!

I used glitter paper and my Cricut machine for the matting of the banner….

Do you recognize this flower stamp set???  

The flower stamp set is from the La Vie En Rose Workshop On The Go kit.  This kit will be retiring by July 31, 2016 OR while supplies last…so this would be a GREAT set to have too!! This stamp set is one I’ll use again & again…just LOVE this set! 

The border on the bottom of the left side of the page, was created with the La Vie En Rose stamp set as well.  Look closely and you’ll notice I stamped the top row of dots ON the black floral B&T, so that I would keep my line straight when stamping.

The “date” stamp, came from our collection of library stamps…what a quick easy way to add an extra touch.  

The red outlined shapes on the La Vie En Rose WOTG stamp set  DO match shapes from our Artistry Cricut collection…..I LOVE how easy my Cricut collections make it to create.  

…and take a look at the flowers! 

 Can you see that I sanded them BEFORE stamping the flower image on them?

La Vie En Rose–WOTG

One of our BEAUTIFUL “Workshop On the Go” kits at Close To My Heart is called La Vie En Rose. Look at this BEAUTIFUL paper collection!!! 

This kit is one of my favorites and I ADORE the exclusive stamp set that is found inside. 

Take a look at the 3 layouts we made using the La Vie  En Rose paper  at class earlier this year.  The black & white papers, paired with Pomegranate & Peacock cardstock made BEAUTIFUL layouts!  

So...do you like these colors paired with the La Vie En Rose paper?

The Artistry Cricut cartridge was used for all the cricut cuts.  I LOVE the flowers in this stamp set. 

And...check out the gold foil tape...this addition adds so much to this layout!

I used my Cricut Explore machine, and I was VERY impressed the detail this blade cut out the cricut cuts.  Look at this beautiful cluster!

I created this set of pages with the leftover paper we had after creating the first two layouts.  I added the La Vie En Rose Complements, instead of stamping so we could have a quick & easy 3rd layout.

Only 2 more days for STAMPAGANZA at Close To My Heart!!!

The AMAZING STAMPAGANZA stamp set sale is coming to an end!!  

With March just 2 days away, I thought I'd share a card I created recently, using some of my favorite stamp sets. 

My cousin is getting married, and we had a surprise bridal shower for her last Saturday.  She has already mailed us her wedding invitations (that she handmade), and used the CTMH colors of Thistle, Eggplant, & Fern.  So, I did my best to create a card for her using these same colors - and this was the result. J 

I used 3 stamp sets...and 2 of these stamps are apart of the STAMPAGANZA sale that is happening this month at Close To My Heart!  

The flower stamp, came from the current Workshop On the Go (WOTG) kit of La vie En Rose.  I ADORE these workshop kits, and they become extra special because of the EXCLUSIVE stamp set that is included int his kit!!  While this stamp set is not apart of Stampaganza - it is definitely a stamp I will use over, and over again.  

Here's a picture of what's all included in the La Vie En Rose WOTG kit....there are so many beautiful items in this kit!!! The included stamp set DOES coordinate with our newest Cricut Cartridge at CTMH - Artistry!

The words come from a GREAT wedding stamp set called "The Happy Couple".  Check out all these images!!!

This stamp is a D-size, meaning it's a $17.95 stamp set & you can see how useful this will be in upcoming projects!  I know we have about 4 weddings we are attending this coming spring....time to get those wedding cards created! 

The other stamp is one that I talk about quite often (sorry...but not really ;) ) is the "Ink Blot" stamp set  and it is one I will use over & over again - even after it is retired.  It's just "one of those stamp sets" that I will always love, and will use in a variety of ways.  Take a look at all of the FUN images in this stamp set.  

The paper that I used for most of this card, is our FABULOUS white-cored cardstock.  But take a look at the strip of green "cardstock" to the left of the card...do you see it?  See the shimmer, glossy design on the paper?  This cardstock is from our BEAUTIFUL, Fundamentals Cardstock collection.  I LOVE the versatility of using the GLOSSY side OR the printed side...it's up to you for YOU to choose!!

Base & Shade stamp images are some of my FAVORITE stamps!  When using these stamps, you know you'll be creating a quick card because you don't need to plan on coloring in the images.  I love to use the coordinating stamp image to fill in whatever color my heart desires.  I was really excited to see the image of the spray of baby's breath too.  Possibilities, possibilities J 

As I thought about how I would use this stamp set, I decided to do some stamp "masking".  It had been a long time since I had done this technique & as I shared this card at my team meeting - I was pleasantly surprised that "masking" was a new term for some of them!!  It's so FUN to learn new things!!  

Here is the card I created... 

I used the ink colors of Hollyhock, Pomegranate, Whisper, Fern & Sweet Leaf.  I also used the Memento Tuxedo Black ink for the wording. J 

After stamping the images, I cut a strip of the Paper Fundamentals cardstock & La Vie En Rose paper for the accent across the middle of the card.  Then I tied some Pixie extra thick twine around the card before "popping" the stamped mat onto some black cardstock. 

I also created a card that didn't have the strip of paper shown above....

You can definitely see more of the "masking" technique on the card that doesn't have the strip of paper....I believe I still like the card with the two extra strips of paper. J
