La Vie En Rose–WOTG

One of our BEAUTIFUL “Workshop On the Go” kits at Close To My Heart is called La Vie En Rose. Look at this BEAUTIFUL paper collection!!! 

This kit is one of my favorites and I ADORE the exclusive stamp set that is found inside. 

Take a look at the 3 layouts we made using the La Vie  En Rose paper  at class earlier this year.  The black & white papers, paired with Pomegranate & Peacock cardstock made BEAUTIFUL layouts!  

So...do you like these colors paired with the La Vie En Rose paper?

The Artistry Cricut cartridge was used for all the cricut cuts.  I LOVE the flowers in this stamp set. 

And...check out the gold foil tape...this addition adds so much to this layout!

I used my Cricut Explore machine, and I was VERY impressed the detail this blade cut out the cricut cuts.  Look at this beautiful cluster!

I created this set of pages with the leftover paper we had after creating the first two layouts.  I added the La Vie En Rose Complements, instead of stamping so we could have a quick & easy 3rd layout.

Love Struck interactive card

Can you believe it???  Only a few days until Valentine’s Day!  

I wanted to share with you another creation that I received from a fellow consultant.  I mentioned in a previous post that I was in a swap(CLICK HERE) and I wanted to share another beautiful piece of artwork that I received from this. 

 Evon Fuerst is the creator of this amazing piece…come on in as we take a look at what she created – just in time for Valentine’s Day! J

This is the front of this Valentine’s booklet… take notice of the Love Struck sentiment….it is a band that is holding this beautiful creation together!!

She used the NEW stamp set – Forever In My Heart to add some beautiful stamped artwork.

What an ADORABLE gift to give your precious loved one, at Valentine’s Day!!  I love the pocket (tied shut with ribbon) on the right side of the picture.  Perfect to store and hide something special, for your special someone.

Family Tree ~ Family is Forever

Hi & welcome!! 

Today I want to share some cards using September’s Stamp of the Month stamp set.

How simple, but elegant!!  She used Whisper ink, and a touch of red…how BEAUTIFUL!!



Look at the touch of sparkle she used too….bitty sparkles & a large clear sparkle too.

Take a look at this design - a TOTALLY different card, without using the tree at all!!

Here is a 5 1/2” x 4 1/4” standard size card, and I think Sarah did a GREAT job!!  I really like how she focused on the wording…but yet still used that beautiful tree as part of the background!!

When I thought about creating with this stamp set - I was a bit challenged.  This stamp set is PERFECT for scrapbooking, but I decided I will make a card and chose to be inspired from CTMH’s Wishes How-to-book. 

It had been a while since I used this how-to book and I was excited to see so many familiar images as I looked through the patterns.

I chose to use the “Collage” pattern on pg. 97 of the Wishes book.

Here is the card… 

I chose to create a background with the fun words in this set. By pairing together the ink colors of cotton candy, blush, whisper & juniper, it allowed me to bring a bit of color into this card design. J

 

Can you guess what paper packs I used in my creating??

I put together our Lollydoodle & some of the Timberline papers to create my own color scheme.   

I enjoy challenging myself to use a variety of paper packs in my creations!!

I LOVE the new embossing folders that CTMH has…and I needed a subtle background.  I really liked how the embossed dots turned out on this card design & I hope you enjoy it too!!
