We're excited to share our creativity with you using our favorite Close To My Heart products!  This blog hop is easy to do…just click on the link at the end of the post to go to the next creation!!

I thought I’d share with you a card box I created for one of my recent new downline!!  J I love to give something special to my new team members…and by creating this box, this gives them something they can use as a business tool to share with their friends too!! These boxes are so CUTE, and FUN to create…there are so many different ways to create them….and to use them!!

Did you notice???  I only used ONE stamp set on this project!!!  I used my favorite background stamp set (again- LOL!) Universal Background for the script writing on the banner.

To create the flowers, I used our Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, and cut these flowers in a variety of sizes!!
Aymee’s name was created with the Artiste Cricut cartridge and cut from our Black & Grey glitter paper.  I LOVE how you can cut ANY design with our Cricut cartridges from our glitter papers!! I think the glitter paper sticks to the Cricut mats better than our designer papers!

At the moment Close To My Heart carries 2 different sets of glitter paper.  Black & Grey and Brown & Tan.  They come in a pack of 3 sheets, but each sheet is a different shade/color.  BUT ----Stay tuned August 1 - we will also have GREEN glitter paper, just in time for the holidays!

Take a look at my use of the zip strip???  Do you see it? I LOVE zip strips and the little “extra” they add to each of our designer paper packs!

Be Still and Know

I wanted to share this card with you today! 

This is my favorite A size stamp set in this current Idea book! Be Still and Know that I am God…how comforting & I am SO THANKFUL that I can put my trust in Him!

For this card, I used the For Always paper pack…and our NEW 12x12 glitter paper!!  

I LOVE how the Glitter paper is CRICUT compatible and that it can be added to ANY creation to "take it up a notch". J

Do you see where I used the zip-strip in this card?  I love, LOVE those zip strips - and love that they come along the TOP of all of designer papers as a little “extra” for us to have!  Thanks CTMH!!!

Take a look at the details…

I created the lines at the bottom of the card by using my dry embossing stylus and my paper trimmer (minus the blade) .  After “indenting” (embossing) the lines, I flipped over my piece of cardstock and sanding it slightly.

I wanted to create a flower type creation with the black tulle - and here is what I came up with. J

The button is from our NEW black assortment button pack (LOVE the variety of colors & designs of buttons in this pack!)

The yellow flower stick pins comes from the For Always asst. pack.

For Always Workshop on the Go

It’s so good to be back with you!  It seems like a long time since I shared a blog post, but as I look back…it was exactly 1 week! J

****Here are the layouts we created in class for this particular workshop…****

NOTE: Each Idea Book, 1-2 WOTG kits will involve the use of the Cricut machine using one of our FABULOUS Cricut cartridges.  I LOVE that CTMH does this…it really helps me to learn NEW & EXCITING things my Cricut machine can do!!!

The For Always WOTG kit is a kit that does use some Cricut cuts – HOWEVER – keep in mind, if you don’t have the Cricut cartridge, you can always use your scissors for some of the images OR give me a call and come use my Cricut machine OR for a small fee – I can cut and mail these pieces to you too!!!

Layout #1

The included instruction guide shows you STEP by STEP how to create the first layout.

The doily & heart are cut with Artiste Cricut Cartridge. 

We stamped BOTH sides of this piece, and then cut a bow from the Artiste Cartridge to add as a finishing touch.

How EASY these curls turned out to be!!!  Just take a few strips of paper, use our quilling tool to roll up the edges and tuck them in behind our resin flower that is included in the For Always Asst.

Layout #2

If you are creating this Workshop on your own at home…

The 2nd layout can be found at  my website by clicking on “IDEAS & INSPIRATION” and then “Workshop on the Go” you will receive directions to create this!!!!

Notice the scalloped edging…we cut this border on the Cricut and than took our rose flower stamp and used it to add to our border!!

This journaling area was actually a CARD that we cut from the Artiste cartridge!  I LOVE using Cricut shapes in ways that aren’t the “normal” way to use them! 

Layout #3

This layout is void of pictures, but you can get a idea of where pictures would be placed. 

When we create our 3rd layout at my monthly hostess club…we have the following guidelines…

*NO inking

*No stamping

*Use leftover embellishments from kit

*Use coordinating Stickease or complements

This creates a QUICK & EASY 3rd 2 page layout!!!

Here is a 2nd card I created using this BEAUTIFUL stamp set! 
My inspiration came from fellow consultant Ms. Aaron Brown!  You’ll want to check out her Blog by clicking HERE…and see the Yellow Rose of Texas she created.  Aaron inspires me ALL the time!! LOVE her work!

I decided to use the color Lagoon instead of honey.  I love being able to use the “For Always’’ paper pack.  You can add ANY color with this paper pack to make a BEAUTIFUL creation!!!!  

I also used the NEW black shimmer trim/ribbon...LOVE how this ribbon is self adhesive and how EASY it is to cut off a piece, peel off the backing, and stick it wherever you'd like! 

This was the 1st time I used our Washi Tape…how QUICK & EASY to add this to your creation!  Yay!  Now, I think I’m ready to use this tape on my own (thanks Aaron!)
